At present, Sitthinan Company Limited has had three categories of products in production and distribution, namely, vermicelli, mung bean starch and tapioca starch. The Company's products of all categories are subject to the state-of-the-art production process, and standard quality inspection. And the company's products are then distributed to wholesale, retail shops and department stores countrywide including to foreign countries under the company's brand name as well as under the customer's brand name.
• Bean vermicelli
Bean vermicelli is food product characterized by its transparent long thin threads. It is produced from Mung bean, which gives it a special quality of springiness that cannot be found from any other noodle products. The characteristics of its use are similar to the use for noodle soup. But for Thailand, it is yet popular for use as ingredient for other foods such as for salads, soup, steamed, and fried dishes. At present, there are 3 brands of vermicelli products under the company's brands, namely, Pine brand, Bean brand and Bamboo brand. The company's vermicelli products come in various sizes to make it more suitable for each different occasion. Moreover, the Company also produces vermicelli products under a variety of customer's brand names.
• Mung bean starch
There are 2 kinds of Mung Bean Starch.One is Native Mung Bean Starch for producing vermicelli, and the other one is Physically Modified Mung Bean Starch ,known to the Thai people as “Salim Starch”,which is popular among consumers or shops for use in making “Thai desserts or Thai sweet vermicelli in coconut milk”. But, in fact, this type of starch is also suitable for use as ingredient for preparing several other kinds of foods, for instance, particularly sweets: Khanom Thien, Khanon Chaan, cookie, tarts, etc. This type of bean starch was later given a new name by Sitthinan Company Limited as “Mung Bean Starch” - [Paeng Thua Khiew] because essentially it is the starch that uses mung bean as raw material. And to avoid the misunderstanding that mung bean starch is used solely for making “sweet vermicelli in coconut milk.” Currently Sitthinan Company Limited produces mung bean starch under the “Pine” brand and the customer's brand according to purchase order.
• Tapioca starch
In addition, Sitthinan Company Limited is also distributes tapioca starch product to its subsidiary, Siam Quality Starch Co., Ltd., under the “Pine” brand and “Bamboo” brand. The tapioca starch can be used for a variety of purposes, particularly, as ingredient for preparing food that requires condensed, thick and viscous quality such as the Rad-Nah, fish maw soup. Or it may be used for making sweets that are characterized by sticky, viscous and springy quality like that of “BuaLoy Krong Kraeng”, etc.
